This morning I created new poll for the Cre8ive Wisdom Facebook page. It asks whether people think that traditional marketing methods have been replaced by the internet and social media, or whether there will always be a place for traditional marketing. Steph and I put our ideas for Cre8ive Wisdom social media together, which were then sent over to Neil for his feedback. Since then we’ve done some ‘bits ‘n’ bobs’. I added some more blanked-out newspaper headlines to our ‘Clueless Words’ photo album, for people to fill in the gaps. We’ve also been trying to work out what can be done using RSS feeds (and how to make use of RSS technology) but we haven’t been able to come up with anything as of yet!
I finished the mammoth list of UK festival contact details today, which has been sent over to Neil.

At lunchtime, Steph and I popped into town to run a few errands. On the way there we noticed that a thread from my trousers had managed to pick up and tangle with a few leaves which, for some reason made us laugh quite a lot!
It’s my last day working with Steph today as she’s going on holiday tomorrow very sad times but we’ll stay in touch!!

Throughout today I’ve been adding to the ever-growing (and seemingly everlasting!) list of festivals in the UK, and grabbing contact details.

I’ve also been continuing to think of ideas for social media with Cre8ive Wisdom, including a new poll question for the Facebook page, which will be put up tomorrow!

At lunchtime, we had a visit from lovely Diane, who Steph and I got chatting to over Twitter through Serenata, as she’s a Blake fan! She gave us a bunch of flowers for being helpful and letting her know about the festival. Steph had to go to an appointment so Diane and I went for a cuppa and a cola at Ask round the corner! It was great to meet her today and I hope to do so again : )

This evening, Darren and I are off to a barbecue (hopefully it stays dry!) at his work friend’s, as he and his girlfriend are moving back to Czech soon so it’s a goodbye ‘do!

This is my first blog post of my last week of my extended work experience placement here at Cre8ive Wisdom! : (

This morning (and into this afternoon) I carried on with the big list of UK festivals and contact details which I took over from Steph on Friday. There are SO many festivals and still lots more to do!

In between this I did a couple of updates with the various social media accounts.

At lunchtime, I took a stroll into town with Steph as I needed to put a cheque in the bank (deposit back finally from the student house!) and we both needed to grab a few bits! We found this funky little shop with accessories and other bits and bobs. After nosing for a while Steph decided to buy the cutest teddy bear headband!

This afternoon, Steph and I have been chatting and researching for social media campaign ideas. Today I’ve mostly been looking into how we can utilise Facebook for the Cre8ive Wisdom fan page, by looking at how other brands and companies are using it well I’ve come up with a list of ideas which need to be expanded. Hopefully some of my ideas will be doable!

The last part of today I’ve been looking for funny newspaper headlines and blanking words, to add to the ‘Clueless Words’ photo album on the Facebook page! Hopefully they can be added tomorrow – but check out the ones already there and add your comments!
