Not long to go… :(

September 3rd, 2010

This morning I posted the article I wrote yesterday to our recruitment client’s blog. It includes survey results showing that more employers believe that their organisation is poorly prepared to manage risks surrounding staff reward systems. You can read it here: http://bondwilliams.com/?p=42 : )

Yesterday before I left the office, I posted a quick status from the Serenata Facebook page asking people what, and who, they would like to see at the festival next year. When I checked this morning, we had 16 comments on there with loads of great suggestions and ideas, and there have been more coming throughout the day. I’ve listed them all on a word document so they can be forwarded to the festival organisers.

This afternoon I took over the huge list of UK festivals and contact details that Steph has been putting together. I’ll be carrying this on next week too because there are LOADS of different festivals across Britain!

As usual, I’ve been doing little Twitter and Facebook bits in-between all this throughout the day!

Next week is my last week here of my extended work experience placement at Cre8ive Wisdom! : (

Then it’s the dreaded final University year! I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at Uni again though : )

Happy weekend!

Trip to Hogwarts before BU

September 2nd, 2010

Throughout today I’ve been rewriting a CIPD press release into a blog post for our recruitment client. This will be posted on the website tomorrow, as Steph already posted on there today!

I’ve been getting on with other social media bits and bobs threading in between writing the recruitment blog post all day.
Again, I’ve tweeted a few of Wendy’s pictures from the Serenata twitter account, to keep the interest of followers up! From that twitter account, I also did a big unfollowing spree, to get the ‘following’ and ‘followers’ number more even… I unfollowed a lot of accounts which weren’t following back and seemed unlikely to be interested largely by the festival.

I updated a status from the Serenata Facebook page, asking for input from fans as to what they would like to see at Serenata next year. This helps engagement with the members – and also with some ideas for the festival organisers!
I also quickly updated from the Cre8ive Wisdom Facebook page, as the whole page was full of automated links from our blogs I felt it needed more engagement. I posted with it a link to our discussion topic to try and get people to share their favourite PR and/or marketing stunts! I also posted links to some other discussion topics from twitter accounts.

I’m going to pop to Bournemouth library in a minute, to get a membership there & maybe borrow the last Harry Potter! I really want to read it before the films come out, and before I go back to University when I don’t have time for fiction books! I started reading it at the beginning of summer, but it was my old housemate’s copy and I hadn’t finished it before she went back to her parents!

‘til tomorrow : ) H x
